Granada holds the Moorish Alhambra Palace and its exotic gardens of Generalife. You will also visit the old Moorish quarter of Albaicin, the most elite neighborhood of Moorish times, dignitary palaces, Moorish baths and fountains, Medersas schools, and notable dwellings are still witnessing a glorious time in Islamic Spain. A Glorious Islamic City still stands proudly to hold the emblem of “la Ghalib illa Allah.” No Glorious but Allah. Granada is indeed unique in its history as the last outpost of Muslim Spain and also the home of many Christian monuments, including the tombs of King Ferdinand and Queen Isabella, idolized as the Catholic Monarchs of Spain and the lords of the Hispanic new-found world of Latin America. Initially, two historic achievements, the End of Moorish sovereignty in Spain and the discovery of a new world, both happened coincidently in 1492 AD

After lunch, you will travel to Fez, a city that has it all. Visit the panoramic views of the Medina, then retreat to your hotel for a good dinner.

Day 6: Full Fez guided tour

Starting your tour in the morning, you will depart for Fez, where you will check into your hotel, a Moorish Riad in the Medina, and eat lunch upon arrival. You will devote your afternoon to exploring Fez, with a historical tour including visits to the Mellah (the Jewish quarter), the King’s palace, and the Bat’ha Museum of Moroccan Arts. Then we will drive to Merinides Hill to visit their cemetery, where you will enjoy the best panoramic view of the Old Walled Medina, brimful with its countless minarets to call for the prayers in a city that has responded to these calls for 12 centuries. Drive down the hills to the gate of Bab Guissa to leave your vehicle and enter a world that belongs to an ancient time. Fez has conserved its integrity and existence, and the Medina is still as it was centuries ago. Not even a bicycle can be used as a tool for transportation. Only donkeys, mules, and horses can help move all the city produces and needs as supplies. The first guilds you will immediately encounter are the cobblers, the saddlers, and blacksmiths, interlaced by some caravansaries for tribespeople who come from the surrounding areas to trade and supply their needs. Down the hill to Juteya, you will encounter all sorts of crafts, but noticeably carpenters and leather workers as one of the traditional tanneries is not far. This walk will lead you to El Ashabine Square with its different activities; we will wind our way to the Sgha Square, which will lead us to Attarine, then Souk el Henna and the Mausoleum of Moulay Idris, the founder of Fez. In the same vicinity, you will visit the Nejjarine Square with its famous fountain, its guild of carpentry, the museum of folk arts at the Fondouk, the tannery, and on to see the great Mosque University of al Quarrawiyyine. Visit the market of dried fruits, the Medersa Attarine to Sbetryyine bookbinders street, the Seffarine Square, where the tapping of metalworkers on copper and Brass is still deafening the passersby as it was the case for centuries. You will break for lunch and then continue exploring the marvels of Fez Medina. Initially, this will highlight the Dyers of silk and other yarns workshops, Foundouk Tetouan a medieval warehouse were all kinds of traditional products are traded in the old fashion. Your discovery will proceed to the shrine of Sidi Ahmed Tijani and up by Foundouk Lihoudi, where a family will host you for traditional tea in their home. After dinner, the Ambiance of the Issawa Spiritual drummers will fill up the courtyard of your Riad. Enjoy dancing and chanting in the Ambiance of a family circle.

Rabat and its twin city, Sala Colonia, are separated by only a river but are historically worlds apart. They have an ancient legacy that spans hundreds of generations. Each civilization that has inhabited each city has left its mark, resulting in a wide variety of architectural styles, including those from the Phoenician and Roman eras. An hour's drive is sufficient to reach Casablanca in the morning. Your guide will take you to visit the great mosque of Hassan II, the Habous Moorish quarter, the old Casablanca colonial city, and, of course, the resort of the Corniche.
